Diagnostics for India

LabOS

LabOS is a cloud laboratory information system for Indian diagnostic labs, from ₹999 a month — accession through to signed report, with 171 preset analyzer profiles across 43 manufacturers. Two-tier verification is enforced in the API, so the person who approves a result can never be the person who entered it.

01 — Three claims, three receipts

Every number here was counted out of the source, and the source is printed under it.

Analyzers preset, across 43 manufacturers

₹999
Per month, published

LabOS labos-website/src/data/site.ts:68-77 — the PLANS constant

403
Returned before a technician can approve their own result

LabOS api/results/route.ts:265-277 — rejected before any write

02 — How it actually works

The mechanism, not the adjective.

Four-eyes release, enforced in the API

The approver can never equal the technician who entered the result. It is not a UI check that a determined click can route around — the request is rejected server-side before anything is written.

171 analyzers, 43 manufacturers, out of the box

HL7 v2.x, ASTM E1381 and E1394, LIS2-A2 and POCT1-A, plus a bridge agent for benchtop analyzers that cannot reach the internet. Sysmex, Roche, Mindray, Erba, Beckman Coulter, Horiba, Abbott and more — this is a compatibility list, not a customer list.

An audit trail you can hand an assessor

Every patient-data write, every authentication event and every privileged action is SHA-256 hash-chained per lab, so a retro-active edit is detectable rather than merely discouraged. Westgard quality-control failures hold release on the affected analyte.

Accession to signed report, on one platform

Sample registration and barcoding, instrument capture, two-tier verification, signed NABL-format reports, GST billing and home collection — built for the standards Indian labs are assessed against.

    LabOS app/src/app/dashboard/ — 22 module directories

03 — What it will not do

LabOS names its own landfill.

The old way is results re-keyed by hand, quality control in a spreadsheet, and reports in Word. LabOS labels its own illustrative figures as illustrative — it prints "representative examples shown" under its own screenshots.

Single-pathologist labs and diagnostic chains, working to NABL standards.

04 — Where to get it

LabOS ships from lms.med-os.in.

Arhas is the publisher, not a reseller. This site has no quote form and no sales call — signup and support live on lms.med-os.in.

LabOS publishes the price of every self-serve plan. Its top Enterprise tier is quoted rather than published, and we would rather print that here than let you discover it after a form.
